Bill overview
This bill revises Nevada’s rules for returning mail ballots. It requires mail ballots to have either a date mark from the county clerk or a postmark from the USPS to be counted. The bill also mandates that county clerks establish procedures to date-mark ballots that aren’t postmarked and shifts the deadline for mail-in ballot receipt to the last day of early voting, rather than the fourth day after the election. Finally, the bill eliminates provisions allowing ballots received after the election day to be counted.
