Bill overview
This bill modifies the process for requesting legislative measures during regular legislative sessions in Nevada. It reduces the maximum number of requests that committees, legislators, and other entities can make, unless the existing limits are already low. The bill also clarifies submission requirements to the Legislative Counsel and adjusts the number of measures required to be prefiled by legislators, with some exceptions. Finally, it eliminates a specific authority for caucus leaders to allocate legislative measure requests.
