Bill overview
This bill revises Nevada’s rules for occupational and professional licensing. It allows regulatory bodies to issue licenses by endorsement to certain applicants without needing to first adopt specific regulations. The bill also requires applicants to be Nevada residents, hold a valid license from the District of Columbia or another U.S. state, meet minimum qualifications, and not have a history of disciplinary action or civil liability related to their profession. Existing regulations that conflict with these changes are deemed void.
