Bill overview
This bill proposes to change how motor vehicle emissions are tested in Nevada. Currently, vehicles are tested annually after their fourth registration. The bill would reduce this requirement to biennial inspections after the fourth registration. It also requires the State Environmental Commission to include biennial inspection and testing in regulations for motor vehicle emissions control, and clarifies exemptions for new vehicles and hybrid electric vehicles.
