Bill overview
This bill changes Nevada law to protect homeowners selling their property. It prohibits investment companies from entering into contracts to buy a listed residential property unless it has been publicly listed for at least 30 days. If an investment company violates this rule, the seller can cancel the contract at any point before it’s finalized. The law also defines what constitutes an ‘investment company’ for the purpose of this regulation.
