Bill overview
This bill changes how senior living community referral agencies are regulated in Nevada. Instead of obtaining a license from the State Board of Health, these agencies must now register with the Division of Public and Behavioral Health of the Department of Health and Human Services. The bill also sets limits on the fees charged for registration and renewal, prohibits the Board from increasing those fees, and provides a transition period for agencies already licensed before October 1, 2025, to operate without needing to immediately obtain a new registration.
