Bill overview
This bill updates the process for obtaining a certificate of title for manufactured homes, mobile homes, and commercial coaches in Nevada. If a person applying for a title can’t provide the previous certificate, the Housing Division can now either require a bond and inspection or issue a new certificate within 45 days. The bill also mandates written notification to the applicant if the application is denied and requires the Division to establish an expedited process for issuing new titles, with associated fees, to streamline the process.
