Bill overview
This bill revises provisions governing public health in Nevada. It creates the Tribal Health Advisory Council and the Account for Tribal Health to fund the Council's activities. The bill also establishes the Account for Public Health, funded through a tax on insurance premiums, to support public health initiatives and allocate funds to health authorities. It defines ‘health authority’ to include health districts and federally recognized Indian tribes, and requires reporting on the use of funds.
