Bill overview
This bill modifies the Governor Guinn Millennium Scholarship Program by increasing the amount of state revenue that can be used to cover administrative costs. Currently, only 3% of anticipated revenue from tobacco settlement agreements can be used for administration. This bill raises that percentage to 10%, while maintaining the current cap of 13% on total administrative funding, which includes money from the Nevada College Savings Trust Fund. The bill does not change the source of funds for the scholarship program.
