An act to require the department of environmental quality to approve OR deny permits within a prescribed time frame, and if it fails to do so, deem the permit approved to bring forward sections 49-27-9, 49-27-23, 49-27-37, 51-3-5 and 53-7-39, mississippi code of 1972, which relate to certain permits, for purpose of possible amendment; To amend sections 49-17-29, 49-17-34 and 49-27-11, mississippi code of 1972, to make minor, nonsubstantive changes; And for related purposes.
