SB 1648 - Currently, the Missouri Charter Public School Commission is an independent commission with nine members appointed by the Governor. This act provides that the Missouri Charter Public School Commission shall be housed within the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, and the members of the Commission shall be appointed by the State Board of Education.
