SB 1671 - Current law authorizes certain cities to impose a sales tax at a rate of 0.5% for the purpose of improving public safety. This act adds the city of Lexington to such list of cities. This act is substantially similar to a provision in SCS/HCS/HB 1790 (2026) and HCS/HB 2431 (2026). JOSH NORBERG
