At 9:40 A.M. on March 9, 2026, Representative Andy Ogles posted Muslims don’t belong in American society. Pluralism is a lie.
.
The word Islam
means submission to the will of God
and peace
.
Islam is a complete system of strong moral convictions that promotes peace, equality, and social justice.
Islam charges that governments should always be focused on equity, justice, and compassion.
Islam teaches and upholds the equality of all people, regardless of race or social status, abolishing systems that are against it, including the caste system.
The Quran speaks about tolerance between Muslims and non-Muslims.
The United States has been built from its foundation as a pluralist nation, composing itself from people of all walks of life.
Opposing this pluralist philosophy in response to the racial makeup of the nation changing is hateful.
The First Amendment in the Bill of Rights states that Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof
.
