Where this bill stands in the legislative process.
This bill amends the South Carolina Code of Laws to restructure the Pee Dee Regional Airport Authority. It changes the method of appointing its members, requiring them to be appointed by the Governor based on recommendations from county legislative delegations. The bill also establishes a perpetual exemption for the authority from stormwater fees, directs certain fines collected by the authority to be deposited into its operating fund, and grants the authority the power to apply for and establish foreign-trade zones within designated counties.
