Bill overview
This bill establishes and modifies the West Virginia Task Force on Artificial Intelligence. It expands the Task Force’s responsibilities to include identifying potential economic opportunities related to artificial intelligence within the state. The Task Force will also be required to submit annual electronic reports to the legislature and the Governor, detailing its findings and recommendations. The Task Force’s mandate will conclude on July 1, 2027.
