Bill overview
This bill would provide three months of paid leave to full-time employees of county boards of education following the birth of a child or the placement of a child through adoption or foster care. This leave would be in addition to any other leave the employee is already entitled to. The bill also addresses personal leave policies, including establishing a personal leave bank and outlining procedures for reporting absences. Finally, it includes a provision for a bonus for classroom teachers who have not used all their personal leave days.
