Bill overview
This bill, sponsored by the Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission, aims to provide greater flexibility in how public officials and employees must disclose their financial interests. It incorporates recommendations from a prior commission report (House, No. 18) to streamline the process and address potential operational delays. Due to the urgency of ensuring financial interest disclosures are promptly available, the bill is designated as an emergency law. This legislation modifies existing rules regarding statements of financial interests.
