Bill overview
This bill requires all West Virginia state employees who interact with the public – through phone, email, in person, or written communication – to complete customer service training. The state’s Department of Personnel and Department of Transportation will develop and oversee this training program. Regular refresher courses and updates will ensure employees remain knowledgeable about current customer service policies and procedures.
