Bill overview
This bill establishes a legal presumption that disability or death resulting from a contagious disease was caused by that disease. Currently, proving a causal link can be challenging. This legislation aims to simplify the process by automatically assuming a contagious disease is the reason for disability or death, unless proven otherwise. This would particularly benefit individuals who have experienced long-term health issues following a contagious illness.
