Bill overview
This law amends the restrictions on how the Foxborough State Hospital property can be used. Previously, the property was largely restricted to state use, but this legislation allows for a broader range of potential development and utilization, subject to certain regulations. The changes were the result of a petition and subsequent passage through both the Senate and House of Representatives, with amendments, and ultimately signed into law by the Governor.
