Bill overview
This bill proposes amendments to the Nevada Constitution to reform government operations. It aims to ensure that the Legislature and its members are subject to the same public records laws as other government entities, prohibits voting on legislation until it’s publicly available, and establishes a Political Practices Enforcement Commission to oversee campaign finance, lobbying activities, conflicts of interest, and ethics in government. The commission would have the authority to investigate violations, issue training and advisory opinions, and impose disciplinary actions.
