Overview
This bill changes how search warrants are handled in South Carolina. Currently, individuals served with a search warrant must receive a copy of the affidavit used to obtain it. This bill removes that requirement, but does require a copy of the inventory of seized property to be provided if requested by the person whose property was taken.
