Bill overview
This bill requires New Jersey state agencies to seek bids from both public and private colleges and universities when conducting mandated studies. If agencies determine that bids are unreasonably priced or insufficient, they must reject all bids and re-issue a request for proposals on an unrestricted basis. Higher education institutions can then resubmit their bids during the new solicitation process. This aims to ensure agencies obtain competitive pricing and suitable contracts for these studies.
