Overview
This bill increases the amount of the New Jersey child tax credit available to residents with children under age six and expands eligibility to include children ages six to eleven. It adjusts the credit amounts based on a taxpayer’s gross income, with higher income levels receiving smaller credits. The maximum credit amount per child is capped at $2,500.
