Bill overview
This bill limits tuition and fee rates at Oklahoma colleges and universities to those approved for the previous year. Specifically, starting in the 2025-2026 academic year, tuition and fees will not be allowed to increase beyond the rates set by the Oklahoma State Regents for Higher Education in the 2024-2025 year. An emergency clause allows the bill to take effect immediately upon passage. This aims to stabilize higher education costs for students.
