Bill overview
This bill changes the rules about what duties county officers can perform. It allows sheriffs, for example, to request additional resources from other counties, even if they aren't located within their own county. The bill also clarifies the extent to which a county is liable for the actions of its officers when they are performing these additional duties. It takes effect immediately upon passage.
