Bill overview
This bill, the Geese House Site Conveyance Act, directs the Secretary of the Interior to transfer approximately 21,578 acres of Federal land in Denali National Park and Preserve to Doyon, Limited. The land, located in Fairbanks, Alaska, was previously selected by Doyon, Limited in 1978. The transfer is subject to certain restrictions, including limitations on alienation, mining, and development that could diminish the land's cultural significance, and requires the reservation of public easements. The boundary of Denali National Park and Preserve will also be adjusted to reflect the conveyance.
