Overview
This bill requires the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey to provide lactation rooms at airports they operate. Airports with 1,000,000 or more annual enplanements must have a room behind security with a chair, electrical outlet, and outside a restroom. Airports with fewer than 1,000,000 but more than 10,000 enplanements must provide a room with a chair, electrical outlet, sink, and outside a restroom upon new terminal construction or renovations. The bill awaits similar legislation in New York.
