Overview
This bill directs the New Jersey Department of Transportation (DOT) to assess the need for and prioritize the creation of park-and-ride facilities near large warehouse complexes throughout the state. The DOT must review existing facilities and, if none exist near a major warehouse, establish new ones to help alleviate traffic congestion on local roads connecting warehouses to major transportation routes. The DOT will also be required to regularly report on the availability and location of these facilities.
