Overview
This bill would make permanent an additional $250 property tax benefit under the ANCHOR program for eligible senior citizen homeowners and tenants in New Jersey. The benefit is available to homeowners age 65 or older with a gross income of $250,000 or less, and to tenants age 65 or older with a gross income of $150,000 or less, who rent a residential property. This extension applies to State Fiscal Years 2024, 2025, and 2026.
