Overview
This bill requires employers in New Jersey to make contributions when using automated customer service kiosks. These contributions are calculated based on the amount an employee would typically pay in unemployment compensation, temporary disability benefits, family leave, and gross income tax, scaled by the number of hours the kiosk is used. The collected funds will be deposited into the Unemployment Compensation Fund and the Property Tax Relief Fund, respectively.
