A BILL
To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 to include certain curriculum expenses as permissible uses of funds, and for other purposes.
This Act may be cited as the K–12 AI Literacy and Readiness Act of 2026
.
Section 4104(b)(3)(A)(i) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 is amended—
in subclause (VI) by striking or
at the end;
Section 4104(b)(3)(C) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 is amended—
in clause (v), by striking and
at the end;
in clause (vi) by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and
; and
by adding at the end the following:
Section 4107(a)(3) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 is amended—
in subparagraph (I), by striking or
at the end;
Section 4109(a) of the Elementary and Secondary Education Act of 1965 is amended—
in paragraph (5), by striking and
at the end;
in paragraph (6), by striking the period at the end and inserting ; and
