Bill overview
The FEC Administrative Improvements Act aims to modernize the Federal Election Campaign Act by requiring electronic reporting for certain electioneering communications and allowing political committees more flexibility in how they make disbursements. Specifically, the bill updates regulations to necessitate electronic filing of reports related to electioneering communications and removes the requirement that political committees must use checks to make disbursements. These changes are intended to streamline the reporting process for campaigns and reduce administrative burdens.
