Bill overview
This bill establishes a process for the President to authorize activities and improvements at the White House Executive Residence. It requires the President to notify the Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs and Oversight and Government Reform Committees of any proposed activity costing over $1,000,000. The Committees then review the proposal, and upon their approval, the President is authorized to proceed with the activity. The President must also provide semiannual progress reports to the committees on these authorized activities.
