Overview
This bill extends foreclosure protections for New Jersey homeowners affected by the remnants of Hurricane Ida. It extends the period for which homeowners can receive a mortgage forbearance from one year to two years. The bill also provides for a stay in foreclosure proceedings for storm-impacted homeowners who receive a Certification of Eligibility for Forbearance.
