Overview
This bill requires the New Jersey Turnpike Authority (NJTA) and the South Jersey Transportation Authority (SJTA) to create toll discount programs for veterans. Eligible veterans with active electronic toll collection accounts will receive a 50% discount on tolls. The discount is available at all hours and requires proof of honorable discharge from military service, such as a DD-214 form or veteran identification card.
