Overview
This resolution allows the Alaska State Senate and House of Representatives to take a break (recess) lasting longer than three days. Currently, Alaska law requires both houses to agree if a recess exceeds three days. This resolution removes that requirement, giving each house the authority to schedule longer recesses during the Second Special Session. It essentially changes the rules about how long legislative bodies can be away from session.
