Bill overview
This bill directs the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) to create a National Coastal Data Information System. The system will combine existing data and tools to provide accurate and timely information about coastal flood risks to states. NOAA will also work with coastal communities and other agencies to identify information needs and develop new resources to help communities plan for the impacts of rising sea levels.
