Bill overview
The Global Small Business Network Act authorizes the Department of State to create a grant program to help establish and support small business development centers (SBDCs) in foreign countries. This program aims to facilitate exports by U.S. small businesses and foster economic connections between the U.S. and other economies. It will provide funding to higher education institutions and nonprofits to help foreign governments build their own SBDC networks and promote international trade.
