Bill overview
This bill changes the boundaries of the Eastern and Middle districts of the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Specifically, it moves four counties – Hoke, Moore, Scotland, and Richmond – that include the Fort Bragg Military Reservation and Camp Mackall from the Middle District to the Eastern District. This realignment aims to better align court districts with military installations and population centers. The changes will not affect any existing lawsuits already in progress.
