Bill overview
This bill adjusts the amount of money the Commodity Credit Corporation (CCC) can borrow. Currently, the CCC has a fixed borrowing limit. This legislation changes that limit, increasing it to $68 billion annually starting in fiscal year 2021. The new borrowing limit will also adjust each year based on the inflation rate, as measured by the consumer price index.
