Bill overview
This bill creates a Taxpayer Fairness Fund to help the IRS more effectively collect taxes from wealthy individuals and large corporations. Taxpayers with incomes over $500,000 or corporations with assets over $5 million can voluntarily designate $5 from any overpayment of their taxes to contribute to this fund. The funds raised will be used to hire and train IRS personnel specifically focused on enforcement against high-income earners and large corporations.
