Bill overview
This bill allows certain tax-exempt organizations, like charitable foundations, to provide grants to college fraternities and sororities for improvements and maintenance of their housing properties. These grants can be used to enhance collegiate housing, as long as the purpose aligns with what a college dormitory would allow. The bill clarifies that these grants won’t jeopardize an organization’s tax-exempt status and specifically excludes funding for physical fitness facilities.
