Bill overview
This bill allows the Department of Health and Human Services to accept donations – including money, services, and property – for the Strategic National Stockpile. These donations would be deposited in the Treasury and used by the Secretary to support stockpile operations. The bill also requires the Secretary to report annually to Congress detailing all accepted donations, how they benefit the stockpile’s mission, and any resulting federal savings.
