Bill overview
This bill requires the Department of Homeland Security to regularly report on the accreditation status of its basic training programs. It also directs the Federal Law Enforcement Training Centers to research and develop technology to improve participation in training, particularly for rural and remote communities. If a training program loses accreditation, the department must notify Congress and outline steps to regain it.
