Bill overview
The Boosting America’s Exports Act aims to help small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs) increase their international sales. It directs the International Trade Administration (ITA) to assess the locations and effectiveness of existing U.S. Export Assistance Centers and recommend where new centers should be established. The ITA will then implement these recommendations, along with increasing the Commercial Service’s efforts to promote exports by SMEs, and providing additional support to these centers’ staff.
