Bill overview
This bill requires the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to hire an outside organization to review the care provided by VA doctors who lost their state medical licenses due to issues at non-VA facilities. The goal is to ensure that veterans receiving care from these doctors met a certain standard of care. If the review finds a problem, the VA must notify the veteran who received the care.
