Bill overview
This bill establishes Principal Cyber Advisors within each of the military departments to improve cybersecurity governance. These advisors will advise their respective Secretaries on cyber forces, programs, and security matters, including weapons systems and the defense industrial base. The bill also requires each military department to review its current cybersecurity governance structure by January 2021 to ensure effective oversight and coordination.
