Bill overview
This bill aims to equalize hazardous duty incentive pay for members of the National Guard and reserve components who participate in parachute jumps as part of their military duties. Currently, only active duty personnel receive this pay for such activities. The legislation amends existing law to grant these reserve members the same incentive pay as active duty members performing similar duties. It will take effect on October 1, 2019.
