Bill overview
This bill allows the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) to move some unused funds from the COVID-19 relief package to different accounts within the VA. Specifically, it authorizes transfers to support Veterans Benefits Administration programs, departmental administration and IT systems, and educational initiatives for veterans. The funds are intended to help the VA respond to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic and improve veteran education programs. The transfers are meant to supplement existing funding, not replace it.
